Cloud Escape
YarnWrap yourself in a cloud! Cloud Escape is a loose tunic, bi-material, drapey and soft.
Worked from top to bottom, there is a fair amount of positive ease. A small fold is worked halfway to the
bust on the front and the back. The front is slightly shorter than the back. A series of short rows on the
front will allow to play a little bit with asymmetry.
The arms have no ease, on purpose.
This pattern is available for the sizes (XXS, XS, S) (M, L, XL).
The sample is shown in Cascade Kid Seta ( “Lace”, Turquoise) and Madelinetosh Pashmina ( “Sport”,
Celadon).
You can substitute those yarns with: “kid mohair” Lace yarn and “merino and silk” Sport yarn, or perhaps
a “merino” Fingering yarn that you will knit slightly off gauge. Please do keep the same gauge!
Gauge
24 sts and 31 rows = 10cm / 4’’ in stockinette stitch washed and blocked (with the Pashmina / Sport yarn).
Needles
3.5mm / US4 circular needles of 200cm / 80‘‘ for the whole project. I recommend (but it’s not mandatory)
to also have another 3.5mm / US4 circular needles of 80cm / 30‘‘ for the sleeves.
3mm / US4 circular needles to do the sleeves’s ribbing.
